New Look!  (a note from your webmistress)            11/15/05

Alert readers will already have noticed that this website has a new design, with white backgrounds and black serif text. The old look, with its blue sans serif text on black, was dramatic and cool but violated nearly every basic principle of legibility.  (One site visitor even emailed me to complain!) James's death in August gave me a reason to redo the index page in sober black-and-white.  Subsequent additions followed suit.  Now even the oldest parts of the site have been revised.  (New errors have probably crept in as well:  please let me know if you find any.)  I hope this makes jamesbooth.org  easier and pleasanter to read.
